When I first found out I had breast cancer, I was devastated and didn’t know where to turn for help. During my visit to Houston for further testing, I discovered CanCare and how they support other women going through the same experience.  

The CanCare community was there for me when I needed help the most. They have been with me every step of the way, and I am incredibly thankful for their support. My volunteer and I had Zoom meetings once a month, and I have learned that we don’t walk this journey alone. I have sisters who keep in contact with me, and I appreciate it all.  

CanCare has been amazing. They made me feel important and cared about. I celebrated being a two-year survivor on June 10, 2024. I thank my Lord and Savior, and I thank CanCare.  

To anyone thinking about seeking support from CanCare…. CanCare is amazing. They are always there to answer questions and to support you 100%, I thank Cancare for being there for me as well.
