Join us for our quarterly Speaker Series, developed to better assist the individuals our volunteers are supporting. The topics presented are designed to address the common issues our clients are facing and equip our volunteers and clients with additional resources, so that no one has to face cancer alone.

Quarterly Speaker Series: Conquering The Unknown.

Wednesday, May 2, 2018

Hope and Healing Center

717 Sage Rd, Houston, TX 77056

11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Keynote Speaker: John Butler, Cancer Survivor and Author of “Envying Job”

After John was diagnosed with the frightening advanced stage four base of tongue cancer, he had no choice but to
undergo an aggressive regimen of high dosage chemotherapy and extensive radiation sessions. What could not be foreseen
was the turn of events following treatment that could make the trials of the biblical Job seem mild by comparison.

Attending this luncheon is an opportunity for our volunteers and congregations to gather and exchange ideas so that we can effectively serve a greater number of individuals battling cancer. All of our congregation representatives, volunteers and those they support are welcome to attend. Please feel free to invite anyone you think could benefit from this message.

Lunch will be provided for a $10 donation.

Kindly RSVP before April 27th to valerier@cancare.org
